UPCYCLING IS THE CLEANEST WAY TO CREATE
The most effective way to reduce waste is to not create it in the first place. Making a new product requires a lot of materials and energy – raw materials must be extracted from the earth, and the product must be fabricated then transported to wherever it will be sold. As a result, reduction and reuse are the most effective ways you can save natural resources, protect the environment and save money. (taken from EPA)

Being sustainable means doing all you can to reduce waste, pollution and reducing CO2. Here at Hand Wash Only Co, we work hard to reduce textile waste but wonder what more we can do. It has become painfully obvious we can not rely on government agencies or corporate CEOs to do the right thing.
We are pleased to announce our tree planting campaign. A dollar from each sale will go towards planting a tree where it is needed most. Help us plant 10,000 trees in 2020.

Hand Wash Only Co. is a design/maker studio created by Edvin Lee as a way to preserve pre-loved garments and to prevent textile waste. He believes in keeping good clothing in circulation while giving unwanted textiles a second life to reduce our impact. Only using locally sourced upcycled and rescued materials creates products for the eco-conscious homes.
